Twelfth Annual America's Pull
2-Day National Champions Tour

America's Pull at the Marshall-Putnam Fairgrounds in Henry, Illinois will host the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League National Champions Tour, Saturday, July 10th at 6:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon July 11th, 2010.  This will be the fair's twelfth year to hold this nationally televised truck and tractor pull in Henry, Illinois.

Larry ShopeAmerica's Pull traditionally offers one of the highest purse payouts in all of North America.  Each class will receive a raised purse payout above the tour standards ensuring that best competitors in North America will target this premier pulling event. This pull not only offers big money, but it also awards the Lucas Oil World Cup to the winner of each class.  The 32 inch tall engraved lead crystal vase is revered by pullers who have won it and those that wish to have it.

Classes competing at the 2010 event will include:
Super Modified Tractors
Pro Stock Tractors

Unlimited Super Stock Tractors
Modified 4WD Trucks
Diesel Super Stock 4WD Trucks

Go to the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Web site for more information @ www.propulling.com
.

Both days will feature all five classes.  Saturday evening's pull will set the stage for the Sunday afternoon finals where the PPL World Cup will be awarded.

This national event is conducted on two parallel clay tracks specifically designed for pulling, providing two of the toughest and most consistent pulling surfaces in the country.  Stadium seating along both sides of the two pulling surfaces gives the pulling fans excellent visibility of the entire track.  Two rows of interconnected concrete safety barriers line both sides of the track.  The M-P Fair has one of the best nighttime lighting systems in the country enhancing the ESPN TV filming and fan viewing.

If you want a full day of pulling, come to the fair Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. and take in 10 classes of farm stock tractors and street stock pickup pulling.  For more details click on farm stock tractor pull and farm stock truck pull.

The Marshall-Putnam Fair is located 30 miles north of Peoria along State Route 29 in Henry, Illinois.
Ticket sales and gates to the grandstand and infield seating open at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and 12:00 noon on Sunday.  The pit area is open both days with no charge to enter.
